Memories!! Thanks for the Memories

Obvious choices are never obvious enough until you've lost them

Let's see it people! 19 days till we bring out the new calendars!

Am I even slightly excited? Naw, not really. I'm as moody as Ashton Kutcher in New Year's Eve. Why you ask? No reason. Call me the New Year's Grinch.

Maybe it's because I felt like I haven't achieved enough this year. Sure, this and that, but nothing meaningful. This year brings about many changes in my life.
  • Met new people, some very nice, most just simply nice, none horrible.
  • Got to work (internship), loads of opportunities, definitely matured from that.
  • Moved to a new house (Yes people! I moved! Explains the lack of Internet connection no?). Was taxing, especially when you had events, work and thesis to juggle in between. I survived, what's next?
  • Entered a college competition, not debate this time. But at least we won something this time around. (even though I don't consider second place as a win, but whatever)

I think I should have a timeline for this year. Just because I have too much time on my hands. Event's over. Exams are up, the last, final exam. So college is ending in about 23 days. College life over. Can I say I look forward to the new year? Well, no.

On the other hand, two of my favourite people will be back soon to be with us on NYE. Something to look forward to. Can we have something to end this year with a BANG! Because that's what I need right now. Banging. Erm, that didn't come out right. I mean, I need excitement.

Anyways, if you haven't achieved what you're supposed to this year, the New Year's Grinch is here to remind you. 19 DAYS PEOPLE. Do what you want. Live this year to no regrets. Reflect on the year, learn from it, do better.

And to borrow a quote from New Year's Eve (Movie). 'What if you can't fail today? What would you do? Good, now go do that'

Disclaimer: The author is not responsible for any lost caused from trying to 'achieve something from not being able to fail'. HOWEVER, if you DO gain something from it. A simple thanks would brighten up his day. Some share of the spoils would brighten his day even further. ;)

Until then, toodles.
